Private Lessons

I offer private lessons to pet parents that cannot attend class for various reasons. (Hermanus area only)

You would like to join the skill training classes but your dog does not have any prior training or over the age limit for my puppy school.

You have other commitments during class times.

Your dog has social problems and cannot cope in a class environment with other dogs.

Your dog cannot cope in the training environment.

Important information

• Dogs must be in a normal flat collar or comfortable body harness and lead (NO check/control chains, prong collars, slip leads or shock collars will be allowed)

• Training is carried out with food lures and rewards and no physical or verbal punishment will be allowed nor any manhandling while in training.

• Training at venue: Adult dogs must have had all vaccinations and they must be up-to-date, no older than 3 years. KC vaccination is mandatory. (cards will be checked, this is for the safety for all my doggy students)

These lessons are intended to teach basic obedience and handling techniques.  If you need me to address specific behaviour problems, please see consultations.
