Consultations will be for problem behaviour or behaviour problems that cannot be fixed by training alone. I can also assist with choosing a new dog or helping a rescue dog to settle in.
Examples of problem behaviour would be:
- Urination in the home
- Destructive behaviour ( digging and chewing)
- Howling, barking, jumping
Examples of behaviour problems would be:
- Phobias
- Compulsive behaviours
- Hyperactivity
- Dog-dog Aggression
- Dog-human Aggression
- Separation-related distress (howling, barking, destructive behaviour, self-mutilation)
Home visit will be done to observe your dog in his or her natural environment and to chat to all family members and get as much as possible information. Taking notes of the dogs daily routine, environment and also a full history of the behaviour problem. I will then give you some training exercises and briefly discuss what I observed and some pointers. After the consultation, I will send a detailed report where I will explain clearly how to address the problems in a step by step manner. A follow up meeting will be arranged where necessary.

Option 1: Full consultation (90 – 120 minutes) & Written Behaviour Modification Programme – Payable upfront – R1600.00 per dog
Option 2: Mini Consultation (1 hour) and no written BMP: Payable upfront – R600.00 per dog
Follow-Up Consultation: R350 per hour per dog
