About this class
This class is for those wanting to carry on with their training beyond the basic level. I will cover advanced obedience exercises and some fun trick training, including Rally Freestyle elements. We will also start preparing for KUSA – Canine Good Citizen Bronze/ Silver and Gold for those pet-parents who would be interested.
Some of the learning that we will do:
Send to mat/bed
Off lead heel work
Various tricks: roll over, sit pretty, curtsey, hide away(middle)high five, paw, chin rest, pivot, leg weaves, spin, circle pet-parent, go around cones etc.
Come away from distractions (willingly)
Fading lures
Play as reinforcement
Out of sight stays
Recall to heel, side, middle and front
Search
Emergency stops
Paws up/ paws down
Important information
- Dogs must have passed Co-operation 101.
- Dogs must have had all vaccinations and they must be up-to-date, no older than 3 years. KC vaccination is mandatory (cards will be checked, this is for the safety for all my doggy students)
- Dogs must be in a normal flat collar or comfortable body harness and lead (NO check/control chains, prong collars, slip leads or shock collars will be allowed)
- Training is carried out with food lures and rewards and no physical or verbal punishment will be allowed nor any manhandling while in training.
All breeds are welcome.

Costs – R550.00 per month, payable upfront. (A set of training notes will be e-mailed after each class) Please enquire about the discount rates for signing up mid-month.
