More about Anneli
I was blessed to have the opportunity to answer my calling and founded Animal Behavioural Care.
I started off by being a professional dog trainer. Assisting people helping their animals to become more confident in their environment and setting the animal up for success by only asking “yes” questions.
Focusing on concept training, I use tons of games and fun interaction with your animal while learning.
I obtained my certificate in advance dog behaviour through the Ethology Academy as well as a Canine training and behaviour instructor certificate through Petsense; both with distinction. Through the Ethology Academy I also obtained my certificate in basic horse behaviour. I have completed a couple of courses through the Ethology Institute as well as Absolute dogs (UK). Meanwhile I am still busy studying the Masterson Method – Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork – a technique that enables the horse to actively participate in the process of releasing tension.
Keeping up to date with the latest findings and studying is just as important to me as having the gift that was given to me by the Lord to work with animals.
As a pet parent of my dog, Lea and my three cats Jessie, Marmite and Ruby, they teach me everyday something new about myself and life in general. This journey started with my horse Broken Arrow, who now passed away on the 2nd of August 2023. The lessons you taught me in the past 9 years we had together comes in handy every day in my work as well as in my personal life. Missing you with all my heart and so does Marmite. Till we meet again my precious boy.
